Adding dimesion and texture to your layouts...

This is something I'd been giving a try the past few weeks and I really love the dimension it adds to layouts. Most card makers add lots of dimension to cards, but are afraid to try it on layouts. Here are a few examples of things to try. If any of you try any of these...please share them with me. I've shown a few examples from my latest scrapping...

Dry emboss a prima-type flower.

Instead of a plain paper strip or ribbon length, try crimping or pleating a strip of cardstock.

Use buttons/gems/etc to frame a photo/page or in place of a circle element.

Choose an element or few to pop up with dimensional doublesided tape.

Dry emboss your diecut elements.

Add hidden journaling or mini album to your page.

Use fabric to cut an element on.

Utilize the paper tearing technique.

Add a vellum envie to include a memento to your page.

Hang charms from a letter in your title or the center of a flower.
